About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client’s operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple technical projects from inception to close-out, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in power generation or industrial plant environments, and excellent project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all assigned projects from concept through to commissioning and close-out.
- Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage budgets.
- Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders for seamless project execution.
- Identify and secure required technical resources.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- BTech/BSc in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- Project Management qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in power generation or a similar industrial environment, with at least 2 years in a project management role.
- Strong knowledge of the OHS Act.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Projects, and ERP systems (Maximo/SAP or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
